Pure Water
Project Synopsis
This project consisted of the construction of two new injection wells (Wells 1 and 6) and one optional well (Well 3) was be constructed to enable water produced by the advanced water purification facility (AWPF) to be conveyed to the groundwater basin, inclusive of injection well supply pipeline, and flushwater pipelines. Construction included open cut pipeline installation, civil site work and grading, concrete construction, injection well vault construction, piping, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, controls, SCADA systems, and equipment installation.
The Oceanside facility uses ultrafiltration, reverse osmosis and advanced oxidation to recycle wastewater to supply more than 20% of the city of Oceanside’s needs. The project is part of the San Diego Pure Water Program, which is a phased, multi-year program that will provide more than 40% of Greater San Diego’s water supply locally by the end of 2035.
Services Provided
CPM Partners provided scheduling services to the City of Oceanside for the Pure Water Project. Services include baseline schedule review, monthly schedule reviews, claims analysis, time impact analysis, delay analysis” for conformance with project specifications, ensuring necessary records are kept on key production rates and work dates, and evaluating Contractor’s requests for time extension.
