SANDAG – Lossan Rail – Alternative Delivery and Risk Management

Project Synopsis
CPM Partners was contracted to provide Alternative Delivery and Risk Management Support Services for various projects along the LOSSAN rail corridor in San Diego County, CA. The projects under this service agreement include Sorrento to Miramar Double Track Phase II, Sorrento Valley Double Track, and Cardiff to Craven Double Track. CPM Partners provided services for these projects during various phases of planning and design including the 30, 60, and 100% design packages. The project support was part of a larger SANDAG corridor improvement strategy along the San Diego section of the LOSSAN Corridor.

Services Provided
As a subconsultant, CPM Partners provided support services to SANDAG including review of alternative delivery methods and proposed revisions, review cost estimates, alternative analysis schedule review and development, review of Construction Manager / General Contractor (“CMGC”) control documents, peer review technical documents, risk management support associated with Project Management Plans (“PMP”), and preparation of risk management registers.
